Mason loves the pool

Mason and I took another class at the pool in preparation for going to the outdoor pool this summer. Mason is very comfortable in the water and can't wait to get in. Jeni came to our last session took some pictures and videos.

Mason knows just where the toys are kept and picked out a bucket this time. While we waited for the water to be tested (after an "accident" the previous session), Mason used the bucket as a hat.

Before class officially starts, we hang out in the shallow end. Mason has come a long way since our first class and now likes going under the water, especially if I go first.

When we do get to the deep end, Mason can't stop laughing. He's so active that Jeni had a hard time getting a picture of us looking the camera.

We do try to practice skills, like back floating.

And going underwater.

Typically though, Mason just wants to spend most of the time jumping into the water and crawling back out in order to jump back in.
