Father's Day

We spent Father's Day down in Illinois with our families. We took plenty of pictures...

Mason and I had a nice first Father's Day together. He got me a video game as a present.

Our 1st Father's Day

Mason got to spend some time with Aunt Amy and his Nana.

Sleeping like a baby

Mason is sleeping really well. Last night he slept for a five hour stretch! And then slept in until 7:30 a.m.

Great Aunt Jamie comes to visit

Jamie and Mason

Mason's great aunt Jamie came up to visit a few weeks ago. I think they got along.

We're still here

Things have gotten busy lately, but Mason is doing well and I'll be posting more pictures soon.

As an aside, I've been working with 12-year-olds the last few weeks. Please call your junior high teachers and thank them profusely.

Mason giggles (at the dog)

Mason and Jeni were all ready to go out the other afternoon, but Jeni had to run to the bathroom. When she came out, Mason and Hogarth were having a great time. Jeni quickly went and got the videocamera and filmed Mason smiling and giggling at Hogarth.

Mason's first roadtrip

Mason's first roadtrip was down to Illinois to visit family. He slept through his visit to Aunt Barbie's house on Friday night (after sleeping the whole car ride) and then slept through Cousin Tim's graduation party on Sunday afternoon.

In between though he met Grandma and Grandpa Coz and had a very good time. After four kids, ten grandkids, and six great-grandkids (I apologize if I've miscounted), she sure knows how to make a baby feel nice and calm.

Jungle mat time!

Smiles for the jungle mat

The mat is fun, for a while.

The jungle mat was scary and not very fun the first time Mason tried it out. Last week though he really had some fun with it. He can see the hanging toys and was even able to hit the elephant ear so that it would "crinkle".

Also, you can tell that he is not wearing any clothes. Thanks to everyone who bought him summer outfits, but it's just too hot.

Sleeping is better on Mom

Momma's boy

Mason doesn't like to sleep in the morning, unless he is snuggling somebody. Jeni is often his pillow, so that I can rest before going to work. When I wake up, I get to sneak pictures like this one.

Long time, no post...

Taking care of a baby takes a lot of time. We also went to visit family in Illinois over the weekend which is much more tiring with Mason. But we're back and ready to post more pictures.
