Mason's new bed

Mason really loves his new big bed. He hardly fusses at all at nap time and at night, unlike with his crib.

Strawberry Jam

Urbana held its annual Strawberry Jam on Saturday night. By the time we got there the strawberries and ice cream were gone, so we just visited with friends while Mason played.

They had a sponsor this year who gave out free beach balls. The kids loved them.

All the kids were in great moods. Maybe it was the bluegrass music? Who knows?

May and Mason are going to grow up to be secret agents, hiding around corners, making plans...

Towards the end of the evening, Mason did a lot of going in circles. He played "Ring Around the Rosy" with May and Natalie and then Jeni spun him around a bit.

Ahem, I'd like to make an announcement.......

Jeni went in for a 12-week ultrasound today. Everything seems to be going well so far. Her due date has been calculated as December 18.

We are very excited, a little nervous, and sometimes just tired thinking about it. Mason probably doesn't really know what is going on, but he does enjoy his "My New Baby" book. In the next few months, we plan on getting him into a regular-sized bed and out of diapers. We're sure he'll do fine with both. I don't know if he'll get used to there being a new baby sheriff in town though.
