Last weekend in Madison

We just spent our last weekend in Madison. Mason didn't get enough sleep, but was a trooper and we had a a great time.

Yesterday, Mason helped us out at our yard sale. We could have sold him to a family, but they balked at our asking price.

Today we went to a Madison Mallards baseball game. Mason's favorite toy and second favorite word (after "more") are both "ball" and he did watch the action on the field for a half inning or two. It was pretty hot, though, and we ran out of food for him so we left in the fifth inning. He had fun sitting on Jeni's lap before we left.

Ball! Ball!

By the way, Mason's t-shirt in the above pictures says "I Do All My Own Stunts" and is very appropriate these days. His confidence in walking is outrunning his skill.

Pool time

Mason spent some time in the pool last weekend at his grandparents' house.

At first he thought the water was a bit cold.

After a bit, and with help with Jeni, Mason was having a great time.

Party time in the pool

Mason got tired and contemplated whether or not he should throw the toys out of the pool.

The next day Mason and I were having a great time in the pool until we discovered the load limit of swimming diapers.

Bike riding in Madison

Mason's Nana and Papa came up for a bike ride a few weeks ago. We had great weather.

Ready for a bike ride

We rode to the zoo and Vilas Park. Mason is still trying to get used to longer rides.

More birthday pictures

Sorry its been so long. We've all been busy getting ready to move next week.

Here are a few more pictures from Mason's 1st birthday.

Mason's cousin, CJ, helped open presents.

Mason's cake had his picture on it, just so everyone knew who was turning one.

Like looking in a mirror

After just a little encouragement, Mason ate all of his cake.

Chocolate and strawberry cake

Mason's cousin, Joey, liked to sneak a taste of the frosting.
